Born in 1984, my love for writing began at an early age. I spent most of my childhood in libraries, diving deep into books that transported me to faraway places filled with adventure and intrigue. My dream was to write a novel and one day become a published author. I made several attempts at it but couldn’t get past the first few chapters. Like what happens to many writers, self-doubt crept in. It was then when I realized that writing a book was no small task.
I pushed my writing aside after graduating high school to attend college and have worked in the healthcare field for over 15 years. In 2014, I decided to give writing another go when I saw the success many authors were having with self-publishing.
I finally fulfilled one of my life-long dreams when I completed my first sci-fi novel THE ANCESTOR which is out now on Amazon. The story follows a man named Six who, after awakening 10,000 years in the future, discovers that he is a clone and that humans had long become extinct. The descendants of humanity, a race known as the Monads, cloned Six in order to learn more about their distant ancestors. Six must cope with the realization that he is the last of his kind and piece together his past while trying to survive in a society where some want to see the human race return to extinction.
